About Summerhill Farm Stays

We’re Nick, Holly, and little Tilly. In 2020, we made the decision to move back to Scotland to support Nick’s dad on the family farm. It was a natural step for Nick to start learning the ropes and preparing to take over the reins.

That journey led us to Summerhill Farm in 2021. We fell in love with the land and its potential and knew it was the perfect place to establish our own farming venture while continuing to support the family farm.

On The Farm

Today, Summerhill is home to a thriving flock of 450 easy care sheep, 50 cattle and our beloved dogs and cats. It’s also home to three gorgeous horses who we don’t own but love dearly. While Nick is passionate about farming and hosts the popular podcast, Farming Funny, Holly brings a fresh perspective. With no farming background, she works part-time at Iron & Pine while embracing the farm life wholeheartedly.

A Tranquil Escape

We opened Summerhill Farm Stays as a way to share this idyllic piece of Scotland with others and to diversify our farming business. Our aim is to offer a tranquil escape where you can relax, recharge and immerse yourselves into farm life.

Join us at Summerhill and create your own unforgettable memories.
