The Barn is your cosy countryside escape, tucked away on our working family farm with views across the fields and sheep often wandering past your window.
Inside you’ll find a comfy king size bed, spacious open living area, fully equipped kitchen and luxurious bathroom with a rainfall shower. Outside, your private decking area and hot tub are perfect for slow mornings, starry nights and properly switching off.
The Barn is dog friendly too, with bowls, blankets, toys and treats provided, plus an outdoor tap for muddy paws after countryside adventures.
The lodge area is fully enclosed so your dog can safely roam freely while you relax. And when we can, we’ll happily let you know which fields are livestock free so they can enjoy some proper off lead countryside zoomies.
It’s the kind of place where you instantly exhale the moment you arrive.
Additional information
Before your stay, you can conveniently purchase extras like our celebration pack, breakfast hamper or BBQ box for added convenience. This can be ordered at time of booking.
The track at Summerhill Farm is a long and bumpy one – we are a working farm after all! While it’s suitable for most vehicles, it might not be the smoothest ride for those with really low-clearance cars. If you’re unsure, feel free to drop us a line before booking, and we’ll happily discuss.
Make sure you bring wellies or decent walking boots – we are a farm and it can be muddy!
The Barn is our dog-friendly lodge, accommodating a maximum of two dogs.

What’s included?
We’ve tried to include all the little things that make your stay feel easy and cosy from the moment you arrive.
Bed linen, towels, dressing gowns, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a hairdryer are all provided, along with kitchen essentials like dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid.
You’ll also find tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil and muesli ready waiting for you, plus a little welcome pack and complimentary WiFi throughout your stay.
For your four legged guests, we provide a dog basket filled with blankets, toys, poop bags, bowls and dog biscuits too.
